In this module, participants will learn about the creator’s economy and Web 3.0 media, including concepts like decentralised publishing, blockchain-based copyright management and tokenised incentives for content creators. Through a combination of theoretical concepts and practical examples, participants will gain valuable insights into the evolving media and content landscape and be well-prepared to adapt and thrive in this new era of decentralised content and Web 3.0 technologies.
Learning Objectives
At the end of the 1-day module, participants will be able to:
Understand Web 3.0 technologies and trends of applications in the media industry transformation
Grasp conceptual knowledge of decentralised, blockchain-based platforms and tools available for content creators
Explore the various tokenised incentives examples and community engagement strategies
Adapt existing media business models and new monetisation opportunities to creator’s economy
Assessment
As part of the requirement for SkillsFuture Singapore, there will be an assessment conducted at the end of the course. The mode of assessment, which is up to the trainer’s discretion, may be an online quiz, a presentation or based on classroom exercises.
Participants are required to attain a minimum of 75% attendance and pass the associated assessment in order to receive a digital Certificate of Completion issued by Singapore Management University.
