Raising startup funding is one of the most exciting yet challenging tasks for a company. CEOs search for investors, loans, grants, and other funding options to help their business grow. Success provides the capital needed to build products and add new features for customers; failure could mean closing the doors for good.
Startup funding is currently at an all-time high. Global venture funding reached $437 billion in Q3 2021, up from $284 billion in 2020. Startups worldwide are benefiting from this surge, with the average global deal size hitting $25 million. In total, startups raised $641 billion from investors in 2021.
How do you claim your share of this funding pie? This course covers the essentials of startup funding—explaining the types available, how funding rounds work, and strategies to secure the capital needed to start and grow your business.
